Lynn Mathews has been working in the mental health field for the past 28 years, primarily providing mental health services in rural community mental health centers in Illinois and Alaska. She is currently the Executive Director for Community Resource & Counseling Center in Paxton, Illinois. Throughout her career, she has worked as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor as well as in provider monitoring for the state of Illinois. Most recently she has spent the last 10 years as Clinical Supervisor for Community Resource & Counseling Center. She currently serves as a member of the Ford County Public Health Board, Brightpoint’s Home Visiting Advisory Board, Community Behavioral Healthcare Association of Illinois (CBHA) Innovation Committee, the Administrative Burden Task Force for the state of Illinois, and the Illinois Behavioral Health Workforce Center (BHWC) Community Mental Health Advisory Group.
She remains committed to community mental health and developing resources and systems for those in need. Lynn graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Masters in Educational Psychology, concentration in Community Mental Health.
