Services for Multi-System Involved Individuals

CRCC serves individuals who have complex needs as a result of child welfare, justice or multisystem involvement, medical co-morbidity, homelessness or dual disorders.

Our Range of Services

Clinical and support services play a vital role in promoting mental health by offering individuals a comprehensive network of care designed to meet a wide range of emotional and mental needs.

Clinical services typically include assessments, individualized treatment planning, counseling, and crisis intervention delivered by trained mental health professionals who use evidence‑based practices to support recovery and stability. These services help clients better understand their symptoms, develop coping strategies, and build the skills needed to manage daily challenges. Support services complement clinical care by addressing the practical and environmental factors that influence well‑being.

This may include case management, coordination with community resources, psychoeducation, and assistance navigating housing, employment, or financial challenges. Together, these services create a holistic approach that not only treats mental health conditions but also strengthens the client’s overall support system. By integrating clinical expertise with ongoing support, organizations like CRCC empower individuals to achieve long‑term wellness, improve functioning, and build healthier, more resilient lives within their communities.

Psychiatric services

Psychiatric and Medication Services

CRCC offers psychiatric services for children and adults through Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP‑BC) who provide evaluation, prescribe psychotropic medication when appropriate, and support clients in the ongoing management of their treatment.

Clients must be actively participating in therapy in order to receive psychiatric services. The psychiatric nurse practitioner collaborates closely with your clinician to support your progress and ensure you receive the most effective treatment. After completing an intake and beginning therapy, your therapist will talk with you about any medication‑related needs and, if appropriate, submit a formal referral for a medication evaluation. Following that evaluation, routine follow‑up appointments are scheduled every one to three months. Clients must be at least 5 years old to receive a medication evaluation.

If medication might be part of your path to feeling better, we’re here to walk with you and make the process feel safe, informed, and empowering.

Community outreach services

Community Outreach and Engagement

CRCC offers a friendly, community‑focused speaker’s bureau with presentations on a wide range of topics related to mental health, wellness, and human behavior. Local schools, clubs, churches, and community groups are welcome to request a speaker, and we do our best to match you with someone who fits your needs. Presentations are offered at no set cost, and while donations are appreciated, they are never required.

CRCC remains actively involved in strengthening the well‑being of our community through events, partnerships, and collaborative initiatives. Each May, we host our Annual Art Contest for Mental Health Awareness Month, inviting people of all ages to use creativity as a way to celebrate resilience and spark meaningful conversations about mental health. Throughout the year, we deepen our impact by participating in the Ford County ROSC to support recovery‑oriented systems of care, engaging with the CBHA to stay connected to statewide mental health efforts, and contributing to the Birth Thru 5 Action Council to promote healthy development for young children and their families. Together, these efforts reflect our commitment to building a healthier, more informed, and more connected community for individuals of all ages.

CRCC welcomes the opportunity to work alongside community groups committed to enhancing access to resources, fostering awareness, and building a more connected community.

Forensic / Court services

Forensic and Court Services

CRCC collaborates with the legal system to deliver a range of court‑ordered services. These services may include mental health assessments with recommended treatment, pre‑trial evaluations, anger management groups, and specialized evaluations and treatment for individuals referred through the court.

Clients involved with the court system may initiate services independently by contacting CRCC at 217‑379‑4302. Referrals may also be submitted directly by child welfare agencies or the courts. When a formal referral is received, a notification letter will be mailed with instructions to contact our office to begin the process. All services start with a comprehensive initial assessment, which includes recommendations for further care when clinically indicated. Specialized evaluations and treatment for individuals charged with or convicted of sexual offenses may be scheduled by contacting our office at 217‑379‑4302. Evaluation appointments are allotted four hours to accommodate the comprehensive testing and assessment procedures required.

CRCC welcomes inquiries from courts, legal professionals, and clients seeking structured, clinically informed forensic services—please reach out to initiate services.
